Trish Stratus (born Patricia Anne Stratigias ) is a retired expert wrestler who was born in 1975, December 18, in Canada. She has a multifaceted personality. She is a former fitness master, fitness model, and television celebrity. Having been a professional wrestler in World Wrestling Federation (WWF), now World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), she is now largely considered the greatest female sports entertainer.
Trish Stratus was born to Alice and John Stratigias in Canada and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario together with her two sisters, Melissa and Christie. Her father was a real estate agent while her mother was an educator. Trish attended Bayview Secondary School where she studied Biology and Kinesiology and later joined York University to major in a degree in Biology and Kinesiology. While at the university, she participated in various sports programs, including, hockey and soccer.
Initially, she had planned to pursue a medical program but her education came to an end due to the strike of her faculty professors. As a result, she got a job as a receptionist at a local gym where her career was discovered by the MUSCLEMAG publisher who secured her a job to become a fitness model. Later on, she was featured in the MUSCLEMAG cover of the May 1998 issue after signing a contract of two years. Since then, she started to work out on her body more hence appearing in the various magazine covers. Her success as a fitness model attracted the attention of WWE talent personnel, where she was offered multi-contracts in 1999 by the WWE company. While a child, she was enthusiastic in watching professional wrestling admiring some of the then heroes like Randy Savage.
Trish made her WWE debut on March 19, 2000, Sunday Night Heat episode using the ring name "Trish Stratus" where she formed the tag team of T&A with Albert and Test and later became the manager of the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Val Venis. In the initial years, she had also worked as a host of Live Audio Wrestling. She won the WWE women's championship title in 2002 for the first time at a survivor series in a six-pack challenge. Trish Stratus established herself as one of the most outstanding entertaining wrestlers in the WWE history. She is often considered as the greatest woman champion ever in WWE. She redefined the role of women in wrestling and has been equally mentioned as the role model and inspiration for many women wrestlers who succeeded her, including Alexa Bliss, Natalya and Kelly Kelly.
Trish Stratus retired from her wrestling career in 2006 at Unforgiven. Soon, she got married to Ron Fisico who is a professional bodybuilder and a gym trainer, on September 3, 2006. Fisico was Trish's high school boyfriend. They have been dating since 1992.
Trish is now a mother of Maximus Stratus Fisico, born on September 30, 2013, and Madison Patricia Fisico born on January 14, 2017. She became a spokesperson for the World Natural Sports Association in 2001. She has also been actively involved in charity works, including the Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics and Dreams Take Flight.
Early in her career, Trish has been tagged in many sexual indicted controversies relating her personal life. She is said to have involved in a sexually themed storyline in T 8 A. She was also in an affair with Vince McMahon and Chris Jericho.
