Early Life

Hazell grew up in Grove Park, London, and went to the Ravensbourne School, Bromley. Her mother Amber was a dinner lady; while her father, Roy, was a window fitter Her parents separated when she was 13 years old. She has two sisters: an older one, Roxanne, and a younger one, Georgia. None of them had a notorious career. When she was a teenager, Hazell often stayed out late during weekdays to drink, so she missed school on the next day. She also suffered from dyslexia, however, she did very well in both mathematics and English.

Modeling Career

When she was 16 years old, she left school to become a hairdresser, but her colleagues persuaded her to instead become a model. At 17, she contested at various beauty competitions held by The Sun, a UK-based media portal. Soon enough, she signed a one-year modeling contract with The Sun, which helped her kickstart her glamour-model career.

Later on, she began regularly featuring in Nuts and Zoo, English magazines featuring hot babes. She also made it in The Sun's 2006 and 2007 calendars. In June 2005, she became the cover of the Maxim magazine. In 2010, she had a second photo shoot with the same magazine. And on September 2005, she was the cover of FHM magazine.

In 2008, Hazell and her agent Ginny Mettrick co-found Muse Management, an NY-based modeling agency. Hazell is currently off the modeling career because she is pursuing her acting career Her last two appearances were in The Sun (September 2009), and in FHM (January 2013). Her first lead role was in Venus and the Sun, a 2010 comedic short film. She also landed a small role in 2011's Sundance Film Festival winner Like Crazy; and a supporting role on 2012's St George's Day, a gangster movie.

In January 2007, a sex tape between Hazell and her former boyfriend Lloyd Miller, an American jazz musician, was leaked on the Internet. The video shows how the UK model did oral sex for a long time before engaging in sex with her ex-lover. The videos were shot during their holidays in Tenerife, Spain, in May 2005. After the tapes' leak, Hazell was reportedly very upset, and she even called the police attempting to find the one who leaked the private video.

She later obtained a privacy protection that prevented further publications of the video.
